Sessions, Fees & Funding
Bright Beginnings Day Nursery is currently open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm for 52 weeks of the year. We are able to offer childcare with a minimum booking of two sessions a week. We close for all Bank Holidays only each year, remaining open throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
Our standard sessions are as follows:
Mornings 8:30am – 1:00pm
Afternoons 1:00pm – 5:30pm
Full Days 8:30am – 5:30pm

Fees are still payable when child absent either due to illness or holiday
We offer parent the opportunities to extend these hours in a morning or evening and charge £4.50 per 30 minutes between 8.00 and 8.30 or between 16:00 and 17:30
For Additional attendance between 7.00am and 8.00am we charge £8.00 per 30 minutes.
If parents choose to provide their own meals and snacks these must be provided in separate airtight plastic boxes which their child can access independently.
These should be clearly labelled morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack and your child’s name. We will provide a fridge to store these boxes and hand the box to your child at the appropriate time for them to access. Any foods containing notes or fish or not permitted as we have children attending with allergies.
Where parents have not paid for meals or snacks in advance, their child will not be accepted into nursery without their packed lunch box, payments on an ad hoc basis will not be allowed.
Funded sessions are offered over 2 days 8:30-16:00 per day and incur a daily charge of £4.00 to cover lunch and snacks. Which must be paid for at the beginning of each half term.
Future 30 hour funded sessions will be offered on a stretched basis 3 days per week over 50 weeks and incur a daily charge of £4.00 to cover lunch and snacks.
Terms and Conditions
Bright Beginnings Day Nurseries Ltd. feel that it benefits all parties, to have clear understanding of arrangements related to childcare at the nursery.
You will be given a copy of our “Terms & Conditions – Contract”, with the original being held in our records. Both documents must be signed by yourselves and one of the Nursery Managers prior to attendance.

In order to keep all our staff and children safe, we are not doing school taxi service until further notice. And we close at 5:30 pm to deep clean each room, at the end of each day.
Fees are not charged for Bank Holidays, including Christmas, Boxing & New Years Day
Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, however we do accept cash and card payments

Nursery Education Grant
We welcome children as part of the Nursery Education Grant for all 3 & 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds. Available sessions are as follows:
